Chloe French Nelson is a children’s book illustrator and author. She is pursuing a masters in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art.

Inspired by her studies in art history, and her many years as a singer-songwriter, she aims to add poetry and whimsy to the everyday. Chloe is currently working on several children’s book manuscripts. Book dummy available on request.

She spent her formative university years in Minnesota (Macalester College) and Paris, and worked for museums (Walker Art Center, de Young) and art galleries in London, Paris, and New York. After nearly a decade in New York City in the band Tanbark, Chloe currently lives in Cambridge in the United Kingdom, with her husband.
